In the late 1980’s, I was introduced to the world of marketing because I too was not interested in selling, yet I knew then that in order to build a successful consutling practice, I needed to be able to convince potential clients to hire me.

I was resistant to selling, and was very excited to find out that selling was almost completely unecesary if, and this is the big one, if I did my marketing correctly.

Marketing, just so you’re clear, is everything you do to inform your patients about what it is that you have to offer and allowing THEM to come to the decision to hire you as their healer at prices that you choose.

Selling, by contrast, is the act of pitching your patients in a direct effort to force them into making a decision that may or may not be in their best interest to make. This is why selling is so distasteful to so many people, both those who sell and to those being sold to.

In fact, when you understand the way I look at pricing for your practice, you’ll immediately see just how effective it is, and that it actually allows you much more freedom to support your patients instead of having to “sell” them on every office visit.
